Abstract


Cooperative type problem possing model is done by giving problem orientation directly to students based on the subject matter given so that the students can observe it based on their experience, and are able to solve their own problem. There is an indication that many students have enough factual knowledge but they fail to solve problem. It is believed that the factors causing learning failure in class is that the learning process is mostly dominated by teacher and learning model implemented does not support students’ activities. The research model used is quasi experiment, with independent variable is cooperative type problem possing model and conventional model. The dependent variable is students leaning achievement, while the moderate variable is learning motivation. The data were analyzed by using two ways of ANAVA and Tukey’s evaluation.
